Preamble: In the spirit of family, fun, and festivity, the Jimmo family hereby establishes this constitution to govern the beloved traditions of the Pumpkin Cup and Gingerbread House contests. Let creativity reign, laughter echo, and the best carver or builder win!

Article I: The Pumpkin Cup

Section 10.1:

  • Pumpkin Authenticity: Squashes may not be used as a substitute for a pumpkin. Only genuine pumpkins are allowed in the competition.

Section 10.2:

  • Facial Expressions: Any pumpkin displaying a smirk, wink, or rolling its eyes will be given extra points for sassiness.

Section 14.03:

  • Illumination Restrictions: The use of tinted illumination devices is strictly prohibited. Contestants are required to use only white light in the range of 3000-5000k for pumpkin lighting.

Section 14.04:

  • Pumpkin Companions: Pumpkins may be accompanied by a maximum of three mini-pumpkin sidekicks. However, any attempt to form a pumpkin army will result in disqualification.

Section 15.8:

  • Amendments and Changes: All rules are subject to change at the contest organizer’s discretion. Participants will be informed of any changes prior to the commencement of the competition.

Section 15.9:

  • Pumpkin Names: All pumpkins must have a name. Bonus points for punny names like “Jack O’Lantern” or “Gourdon Ramsay.”

Article II: The Gingerbread House Contest

Section 12.7:

  • Gingerbread Authenticity: Graham crackers may not be substituted for gingerbread. Only genuine gingerbread is allowed in the competition.

Section 12.8:

  • Gingerbread Residents: All gingerbread houses must be able to house at least one gingerbread man or woman. However, gingerbread ghosts and monsters are also welcome.

Section 15.2:

  • Amendments and Changes: All rules are subject to change at the discretion of the contest organizer. Participants will be informed of any changes prior to the commencement of the competition.

Section 15.3:

  • Edible Landscaping: All landscaping elements, such as trees and shrubs, must be edible. Beware: The contest organizer reserves the right to taste-test any suspicious-looking bushes.

Section 15.4:

  • Chimney Smoke: If your gingerbread house has a chimney, it must emit candy cane smoke or cotton candy clouds. Any other emissions will be considered a health violation.

By participating in the Jimmo Family Festive Competitions, all contestants agree to abide by the rules and regulations set forth in this constitution. The essence of these competitions is to foster creativity, fun, and family bonding.
